My Story: Why Pain Kept Coming Back, And What Finally Changed Everything
You get the massage. You see the chiropractor. You finish your last PT session. For a few days, your body feels better. You breathe easier. You think, “Maybe this time it’s fixed.”
And then… like clockwork, the pain creeps back.
I know exactly how that feels. I lived with chronic lower back pain for years. Sitting, walking, even sleeping was uncomfortable. I did all the “right” things: bodywork, strengthening, chiropractic, stretching… yet I always ended up right back where I started.
The turning point?
It wasn’t doing more of the same, it was by adding something completely different: somatic practices, visualization, and very specific functional strength training that brought my body back into balance.
It wasn’t overnight, but over the course of a year, the pain that had been my constant companion was gone, and it hasn’t come back.
Here’s what most people overlook:
Pain isn’t just about muscles and joints. Your nervous system calls the shots. If it doesn’t feel safe, your body will stay in protection mode, no matter how much you stretch, strengthen, or get worked on.
Somatic exercise and functional movement-based strengthening help bring the nervous system back into balance so your body can feel calm, strong, and good again.
If you’ve been chasing relief that never sticks, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong, it’s because you haven’t been given the whole solution yet.
Now, I help women reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and build the kind of strength that actually lasts.
